Ventura V6SR1A

The Ventura V6 FlexCam is the fastest solution for economical and precise production, from crown material, medium and large series of parts with a diameter of up to 6.35 mm.

VENTURA V6SR1A, with 4-pin revolver, for the execution of more complicated parts, with drilling, tapping or threading, counter-drilling or milling.

The four-station revolver includes, in its normal form of execution:

  • 1 counter-clip pin
  • 2 rotating counter-drile pins
  • 1 tapping or threading pin

On request, other combinations are available that allow, in some cases, a significant increase in production:

  • 2 pin of the counter-clasps
  • 2 tapping pin or threading

The change of station is ensured in 1/4″ by a Maltese cross mechanism. The locking is done by a conical finger whose axis is parallel to that of the pins, but located on a larger radius. This technique guarantees the accuracy of the positioning.

The rotation speed of the drilling pins can be changed by programming on the FlexCam touch screen.

The tapping pin (thread) is driven by an auxiliary motor with reverse direction of travel and electric braking. Interchangeable pulleys make it possible to choose the appropriate speed. The forward and backward of the spindle are enslaved, – in a ratio of 3:1 -, to an interchangeable pattern, whose step is threefold than that to be achieved. This particularity ensures a net of precision and quality.

Ventura’s FlexCam system allows an optimization of the parameters of each operation individually. The ability to program the speed of the camshaft by segment increases the performance of cam machines. For example, it is possible to reduce the advance during cutting and increase it during shooting. Thanks to this technology, it is no longer the slowest process that determines the total cycle time. In addition, the rotation speed of the spindle, straightener and drilling pins are continuously adjustable (no more change of pulleys and significant improvement in the quality of the parts produced, both in terms of tolerance and surface condition).

  • Simple and complex parts
  • Material in crowns
  • Material diameter up to 6.35 mm (maximum in mild steel)
  • Very short production cycles
  • Turning operations with three independent tools
  • Front recovery with 4 tools
  • Possible counter-operations (counter-drilling, transverse drilling, counter-milling)
  • Continuous work 24 hours
  • Easy adaptation of the production process

  • Optimization of production cycles thanks to the FlexCam system, allowing better accuracy and longer tool life.
  • Efficient and economical production of simple parts with short production cycles.
  • Reduction in the cost of material by significant reduction in falls.
  • Descolleted parts without nipple, hence the elimination of an expensive recovery.
  • Since the piece is better supported, the advances for diving operations or cutting can be stronger.
  • Reduction of manufacturing costs by the reduced size of crunn machines (compact design).
  • Reduction of labor thanks to the feeding of machines (material loaded by crown) at longer intervals, real continuous work 24/24h. The operator has the necessary time to drive more machines.
  • Production stoppages due to the load are more spaced.
